Bleeding after IVF
It is normal to have some bleeding after the collection of eggs and after the transfer of the embryos. During the egg retrieval, your fertility specialist will use a needle to go through the vaginal wall and collect the eggs from the ovary. When the embryos are transferred the fertility, expert has to manoeuvre through the cervix to find the best place to deposit the embryos. Both these procedures can cause minimal bleeding, which will stop in some time. Any excessive bleeding or bleeding for a longer duration must be reported to your fertility expert immediately.
