IUI blood test

Before the IUI treatment begins, you will be asked to take a set of tests that include blood tests to ensure that our fertility specialists are ready with all the information they will need during the course of the treatment. Both you and your partner will be asked to take a test to ensure that you are both free of sexually transmitted disease. HIV, Hepatitis C antibody, Hepatitis B surface antigen, RPR, HTLV I are some of the tests you may be subjected to. The procedure will also end with a blood test that will be done to test if you are pregnant.
