Menstruation after failed IVF

Women experience periods if the embryo fails to implant. In cases where the embryos fail to implant itself into the endometrial lining of the uterus, the embryos are disintegrated and are removed from the uterus with the endometrial lining when you get the periods. The periods may be heavier after an IVF cycle in some women.
